Here’s what happens to a 220V LED strip after more than a year of outdoor use

Today we show you our SLP220 LED strip, a 220V high voltage strip with active protection against short circuits, after a year and a half of outdoor activity.

The strip has been running 24 hours a day for more than 18 months, continuously running under any type of atmospheric condition.

As you can see from the video, the LED strip is intact and fully functional. The strip is connected directly to the electrical system, it does not require a power supply.
Every 10 cm is inserted all the electronics it needs to be connected to the electrical network, this allows it to be sectioned every 10cm and to use each piece directly connected to the system.

The SLP220V LED strip is a product made of heat-dissipating silicone extrusion, which is why it is extremely resistant to atmospheric agents, the extrusion completely surrounds the strip both front and rear making it totally waterproof.

It can work outside even without being installed in an aluminum profile; it can be applied directly to the surface of our interest using the 3M adhesive tape on the back.
This product mounts an active short-circuit protection every 10 cm which protects both the strip itself and the user in case of sheath breakage or short circuit.

The SLP220V LED strip is suitable for all outdoor and indoor installations, even in contact with the public thanks to its active protection, and where we cannot or do not want to use a transformer as the strip can be connected directly to the system.
It is available in spools of 5, 10, 20 and 50 meters and in the three shades of warm (3000K), natural (4000K) and cold (6000K) light.
